Sri Ranga Driving School

Our driving school is located on Magadi Main Road in the Golarhatti area, which is over towards the Vijaynagar side of Bangalore. This part of the city is always moving, especially with all the heavy trucks and commercial vehicles that use this main road to get around. The office is just a simple place where we sit and talk to the people who come in wanting to learn how to drive. We have a few cars parked in the space nearby. Most of the day is spent navigating through the thick traffic and trying to teach people how to stay calm when someone is honking their horn right behind them. Golarhatti has changed quite a bit over the years and has become much busier than it used to be. We have students who come to us from all around the 560091 area. Some of them are quite nervous when they first sit in the driver's seat, so we spend a lot of time just talking about the very basics like using the mirrors and giving signals. It’s a lot of sitting and watching, making sure we are ready to hit the dual brake if something goes wrong on the road. We usually take our own lunch break when the sun is at its highest point and the traffic slows down just a tiny bit. The office doesn't have much in it, just a desk and a few chairs. It is a practical business, and we just focus on getting through the lessons.
