Sri Rameshwara Battery Point

Sri Rameshwara Battery Point is our little shop over at 34 JP Nagar Naroda Road. We are right in the Vijay Society area. It's pretty close to Inchara, so there is usually a bit of traffic moving past the front door. Most days we are just surrounded by stacks of batteries. There are heavy plastic casings everywhere. It gets a bit cramped inside when a big shipment arrives. We have to find space for everything on the shelves somehow. Working with batteries means your clothes usually end up with some marks on them. The smell of lead and acid is just something you get used to after a week. It’s mostly just us checking voltages. We make sure things are charging up like they should. We don't have some big corporate setup or a shiny showroom. It's just a practical place. We keep the lights on and help people out when their vehicle won't start in the morning. Sometimes it's quiet. We just sit by the door watching the street. Other times three people show up at once needing help. We’ve been in this part of Naroda Road long enough to know most of the people living around Vijay Society. It isn't anything special to look at. It's just a regular shop doing regular work every day. We try to keep things simple. We just focus on what’s in front of us right now and get it done.
