Sri Ramakrishna Dental Clinic

Akkipet is a busy area and we have been here at K.V. Lane for a while now. The clinic is tucked away on the first cross, which makes it a bit quieter than the main road, but you can still hear the scooters passing by. We have a few chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they do the job. Usually, the morning starts with checking the instruments and making sure everything is where it should be. The light coming through the window isn't great in the afternoon, so we rely on the overhead tubes. People from the neighborhood stop in, some with a lot of pain and others just for a quick check. We spend a lot of time talking to patients about their day while we work. Sometimes the water pressure acts up, or the electricity goes for a minute, but that is just how things go around here. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we get our chai from. It is a simple place, not very big, but we try to keep it tidy. The walls are painted a light color to make it feel more open. Most of our day is spent looking at teeth and listening to the sounds of the street outside. It isn't a fancy setup, just a regular dental office in a crowded part of town where people know each other by name.
