You can find us at 4-A on Sir C.V. Raman Road over in the R.S. Puram area. We run a jewelry shop here, mostly dealing with gold and silver items that people want for weddings or just for daily wear. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though the weekends can get a bit more crowded with people out shopping. We spend our days showing different designs to families who come in together. Sometimes they have a very specific design in mind, and other times they just want to browse through what we have in the display cases that day. It’s a lot of sitting and talking with people, trying to understand what they like or what their budget is. We aren't a big chain store, so it's a more personal and slow atmosphere here. We clean the glass every morning and make sure everything is looking okay. Most of our customers are locals from around R.S. Puram who have been coming to see us for years. We do some repairs too, like fixing broken chains or resizing rings that don't fit anymore. It’s steady work, and we enjoy the daily interactions with the regulars who stop by to say hello. Sometimes the gold prices go up and down like crazy, and that's all anyone wants to talk about. We just keep the shop open and see who walks through the door next.
