Sri Narayan & Co

Sri Narayan & Co is located at number 6 on Bull Temple Road right in the middle of Chickpet. It is one of those areas where you can barely walk on the sidewalk because there are so many people and carts moving around. We have been in this building for a long time and the front door has a bit of a trick to it when you try to lock it at night. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of goods and a few wooden desks where we keep the ledgers. We don't use fancy computers for everything yet. Most of the day is spent talking to people who come in from the market or checking the deliveries that arrive on the handcarts. It gets very hot in the summer so we keep the overhead fans going at full speed but they mostly just move the warm air around. The walls have a few old calendars pinned up and some pictures from the temple nearby. We know most of the people on this block by name. It is a noisy place with the temple bells ringing and the shouting from the street but we are used to it by now. We usually eat our lunch in the small back room while someone stays out front just in case a regular walks in. It’s a plain business and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't.
