America Online Member Service

America Online Member Service is based out of 5, 9th Main Road in the Mathikere Extension. This is an older part of Bangalore 560054, and it has a very specific feel to it. The road is usually lined with parked scooters and there is a lot of foot traffic from the nearby markets. Our building is a simple structure that has been here for years. Inside, it is all about the phones and the computer terminals. We spend a lot of time talking to members and trying to sort out their account issues. It can get pretty loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. The desks are a bit worn down, and the chairs have seen better days, but they do the job. We have a small kettle for tea in the corner that gets a lot of use. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the early days and some newer faces. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, so we usually head out to the local joints for a quick bite. The weather in Mathikere is just like the rest of the city, dusty and hot in the afternoons. We just focus on answering the questions that come in and helping people navigate their service. It is basic, honest work in a neighborhood that feels like real old Bangalore.
