Sri Mukha Industries

Sri Mukha Industries is situated at C-44 in Hoskote, over in the Amba Nagar area. This is more of an industrial spot, so it is not the kind of place you come for window shopping. We have our workshop set up here with all the tools and machinery we need for our daily work. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the dust, but that’s what happens when you are actually making things. We have a small group of workers who come in early every day. It gets quite loud once the machines start running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the noise. Amba Nagar is a bit out of the way for some, but it works for us because we have the space we need for the heavy gear. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us covered in dust or holding a wrench near the back. We spend a lot of time fixing things or trying to get the settings right on a piece of equipment. It is hard work and our hands are usually dirty by the time we go home at night. The roof is made of tin, so when it rains, it’s almost impossible to talk. We just keep our heads down and get the orders done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this site for a good while now.
