Sri Manjunatha Driving School

Our school, Sri Manjunatha Driving School, is located at number 857 in BTM 2nd Stage. We are right opposite the Mico Layout Police station, so it is a very easy landmark for anyone coming by. Being in Bangalore, especially this part of the city, means we are always dealing with a lot of vehicles and narrow lanes. Our office is a simple place where we keep the records and talk to people about their classes. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a coffee machine, just a place to sit and figure out the schedule. We’ve seen the roads change from being quiet to being packed with bikes and cars every hour of the day. Teaching someone to drive here requires a lot of nerve and a lot of patience with the brake. Most of the people we help are from around the BTM or Mico Layout area. They want to learn so they can get to work or take their kids to school. We spend our days sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road and making sure nobody gets into trouble. The sun can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we keep going. It’s a local business and we like being part of the community here. If you see us near the police station, that’s where we spend most of our time.
