Sri Mahadeshwara Motor Driving School

We are located on the first floor right at the Hegganahalli Bus Stop. It is near the Govt School so the area gets very crowded when the kids are coming or going in the afternoon. Bangalore traffic is a real headache especially in this 560091 zip code. We spend most of our day either sitting in the cars or at the desk handling all the license applications. The stairs going up to our office are a bit narrow but once you are up there it is a quiet enough place to do paperwork. We have been here for a long time and the walls could probably use some fresh paint. We have a few cars that we use for the daily lessons. Some days the traffic is so bad that we barely move a few kilometers during a whole hour. It is frustrating for the students but they have to learn how to handle the clutch in stop-and-go traffic anyway. We see all kinds of people coming in to learn. Some need to drive for their jobs and others just want to be able to get around the city. We help them with the learner's permit and the final test which involves a lot of waiting at the RTO office. We just keep our files organized as best as we can. It is a busy life here in Hegganahalli but we are used to the noise of the buses outside.
