Sri Magadi Road Hospital

Our hospital is situated at 462/3 in Kottige Palya, very close to the B.M.T.C. Bus Stop in the Kengeri area. Being so close to the bus stop means we get a lot of people passing by all the time. It is a very convenient spot for anyone taking public transport to get to their appointments. The building itself is a bit older and has that lived-in feel. We have been serving this part of Kengeri for quite some time now. Inside, it is pretty basic. We have a reception area that stays pretty busy and some wards for patients who need to stay over for treatment. It’s not one of those massive hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. Everything is close together. Sometimes the noise from the bus stop filters in, but it’s just the sound of the neighborhood. The doctors and staff here are local people too. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon when we talk to patients. We just tell them what's going on in plain English. The benches in the waiting area are wooden and have been there since we opened. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many people coming in and out from the street, it’s a constant job. We are just a practical, local hospital for the folks around Kottige Palya. It’s about getting people treated and back home, without any of that corporate hospital atmosphere. We like being part of this community.
