Sri Lakshmi Battery Works

You will find Sri Lakshmi Battery Works over in JP Nagar 2nd Stage. We are at 141/15 on the 24th Main, specifically the 2nd Cross. We are right opposite the LIC Building, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are looking for that landmark. The shop is full of batteries of all sizes. There is usually a bit of a smell of lead and acid, but you get used to it after a while. We spend our days charging batteries or testing them for people whose cars won't start. It is greasy work. Our hands are usually black by the end of the day. We don't wear uniforms, just old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We have been in JP Nagar for a long time. People bring in their old inverters or bike batteries and we see what we can do for them. Sometimes they are just dead and we have to tell them the bad news. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just a workshop with a counter. We talk to our neighbors and help out when someone is stuck on the road nearby. It’s a local shop through and through. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are here. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just keep things moving one battery at a time and hope the customers are satisfied.
