Sri Chakravarthy Traders

This is Sri Chakravarthy Traders. You can find us at number 6 on the 80 Feet Road in Krishnarajpuram. We are situated right on the main road, but you have to look behind St Anthony's Church to find our entrance. It is a good landmark because everyone knows the church. We have been trading here for quite some time now. The 80 Feet Road is always moving with cars and buses, so it stays quite lively outside our door. Inside, we keep our stock piled up. It is not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is kept. We sell various items that people in the area need for their projects. My uncle started this and now I help him with the daily tasks. We don't do much advertising because we are usually busy talking to the people who walk in. The building is an older one, so it stays a bit cool even when the sun is out. We keep a ledger for our accounts and try to keep things simple. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for delivery trucks to pull up, so we end up carrying things by hand. It's just part of the job. We don't have any big corporate plans or dreams. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the shelves stay full for whoever needs something that day. We enjoy the work and the people we meet.
