Sri Bhavani Motor Driving School

Sri Bhavani Motor Driving School has been operating here at No. 50, right near the Rto Complex in Yelahanka New Town, for quite a while now. It is a busy spot because everyone comes this way for their vehicle paperwork and license tests anyway. My desk is usually covered in forms and there is always the smell of tea in the air. We have a few cars that we take out every morning for the lessons. Sometimes the traffic in Bangalore is just too much to handle, but we manage. Students usually come in looking very nervous, clutching their new learner’s permits. We sit with them in the car, show them how the gears work, and try to keep them calm while they navigate the road. It is not an easy job when you have to watch both the traffic and the student's feet at the exact same time. The office is small but it works for what we need. We are right there in the 560092 area of Karnataka. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby blocks. We spend our days going back and forth to the RTO. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the driving classes done early. There is no big secret to what we do. We just show people how to handle a steering wheel. We see all kinds of people, from young kids to older folks. (247 words)
