Sri Balaji Lubricants

We’ve been running Sri Balaji Lubricants out of this spot in Yeshwantpur for a while now. It’s right there on 4th Cross, near the Papamama Kallyanamandaba, which most people around here know as the main landmark. The Arun Complex is usually pretty busy with all the traffic coming off Triveni Main Road, so it gets a bit loud during the day. We mostly spend our time dealing with different types of oils and greases for various vehicles and machines. It’s a dusty job sometimes. The shelves are packed with cans and barrels. We don’t really have a fancy showroom or anything, just a practical space where we get things done. Most of our regulars are just local mechanics or guys from the neighborhood who need a specific grade of oil for their truck or bike. Sometimes it's hard to find parking right out front because the road is narrow, but we manage. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s a simple setup. If you walk past the kallyanamandaba and look for the sign on the complex, that’s where you’ll find us. There is always some paperwork to do or inventory to count. We just try to keep the right stock on hand so nobody has to wait too long. It is just a normal, hardworking shop in a busy part of the city. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slower than others but we keep busy.
