Sree Vishalakshi Amman Industries

We are located at 14/3 in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, which is part of the Udayampalayam area. Sree Vishalakshi Amman Industries is basically a workshop where we spend most of our hours. It gets pretty hot under the roof during the summer months, but we have got used to it by now. The sound of machines is just part of the background here. We have some heavy equipment that takes up most of the floor space, so you have to watch your step when you walk through. It is an industrial area, so nobody expects things to be spotless. We have grease on our hands most of the time and the floors show the wear and tear of years of work. Udayampalayam is a good spot for us because of the other workshops nearby. If we need a specific tool or a bit of advice, someone is usually around to help out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the production stays on track. The paperwork usually happens on a small wooden desk in the corner that is piled high with old invoices. We eat our lunch together near the entrance where there is a bit of a breeze. It is a basic setup, but it allows us to do what we need to do without any extra fuss. Most of the neighbors know us by name now and we feel like part of the scenery.
