Sree Venkateshwara Diggers

We started Sree Venkateshwara Diggers right here in Jalahalli New Guddadahalli. It’s mostly just us and the machines out here every day. When we first got the equipment, we weren't sure how busy it would get, but the ground in this part of town keeps us moving. You’ll usually see our yellow diggers parked up or heading out to a site nearby. It gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up around Jalahalli, especially in the afternoons. Most days involve checking the hydraulics and making sure the teeth on the buckets aren't too worn down. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and other folks around New Guddadahalli who need a bit of earth moved. It’s heavy work and the sun gets hot, so we take our breaks under whatever shade we can find near the site. Sometimes the soil is easy, other times it’s mostly rock and takes twice as long. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a spot where we keep the keys and the logbooks. People usually just drop by if they see us around. It’s been a few years now and we know these streets pretty well. The traffic around here can be a headache when we’re trying to move the big rigs, but we manage to get through it. It's just honest work with grease on our hands and mud on our boots most of the time.
