S.R. Mech

We are located at SB-47/3A, which is on the 1st Cross in Peenya Industrial Estate. If you’re looking for us, we’re right opposite the Punjab National Bank. Being in Peenya means there is constant noise from machines and trucks, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. S.R. Mech is a mechanical workshop through and through. We have our tools, our benches, and whatever jobs come through the door. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the grease and metal shavings, but that’s how a workshop should look if work is actually getting done. We spend a lot of time fixing things or making small parts that people can't find elsewhere. It’s mostly us and a few regular guys who come in for help with their machinery problems. The bank across the street is a good landmark because people always know where that is. We don't have a website or anything like that to show off. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We’ve been at this 1st Cross location for quite some time now, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We just open up the shutters in the morning, have our tea, and start on the first job of the day. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy. We just do the work and that is that.
