Being over here at No.10/1 on Queens Road means there is always something going on outside our door. Speedex Courier & Cargo Pvt Ltd has been based in this spot for some time, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We handle a lot of packages every day, some small and some quite heavy. It’s mostly just a routine of checking labels and making sure things are ready for the drivers to pick up. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and a lot of tape and boxes everywhere. We have some regulars who come in all the time, and we know them by name now. Queens Road can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, which we deal with every single day when the vans show up. It gets a bit chaotic in the afternoons when everyone is trying to get their shipments out before the evening cut-off. We just do our best to keep it organized so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It's honest work, even if it’s a bit tiring by the time five o'clock rolls around. We don't spend much time on fancy stuff, just staying focused on the courier side of things. If you walk past, you'll probably see us moving pallets or arguing about where a specific box went. It’s just how it is in this business. We’re just local people trying to run a decent operation here in the city.
