Basaveshwara Nagar is a busy area, and our place at No 52 on the 2nd Main is right in the thick of it. We are in the 4th Stage, 4th Block, which can be a bit confusing for people who aren't from this side of town, but once you find the 2nd Main, it is pretty straightforward. The hospital has been here for a good bit of time. Inside, the walls are painted a simple off-white, and there are always stacks of forms on the wooden counter near the entrance. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. It’s not the quietest place because of the traffic noise coming from the street, but we’ve all gotten used to it. The doctors go from room to room, and the nurses are usually busy checking temperatures or updating the charts. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines you see in big city offices, just a basic water dispenser in the corner that sometimes runs out of cups. Most of our patients live nearby and just walk over or take an auto. It feels like a neighborhood spot where you know the person sitting next to you. We try to keep things organized, but on Monday mornings, it can get a bit hectic with everyone trying to get seen at once. It’s just a regular hospital doing the daily work that needs to be done.
