Southern Packs

Southern Packs is located out at No.43/3 in Cheemasandra, which is part of Bidarahalli Hobli. It’s a bit further out from the main city, so things are a little quieter here than they are downtown. We have a bit more space to breathe, which is nice for a packing business. We have a shed where we store all the materials and do the actual work. It’s mostly just corrugated cardboard, tape, and plastic wrap everywhere you look. The dogs from the neighborhood sometimes wander in looking for a scrap of shade and we have to shoo them out. We start our work early because the trucks like to come by before the traffic gets bad on the highway. There’s no fancy signage outside, just a small painted board so people know they’ve found the right gate. We’ve got a small crew of local workers who walk over from the nearby houses. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you show up, you just walk into the shed and find someone who isn't busy. Sometimes the rain makes the road to the facility a bit muddy, which slows things down, but we manage. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just making sure things are wrapped up tight so they don't break on the road. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and we like the quiet of Cheemasandra. The sunsets are better out here than they are in the city center.
