South City Hospital

South City Hospital is located at 53/1(45) SHALINI on Susheela Road, which is over in the Lalbagh Upparahalli area. Being so close to the park means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, but the road outside is usually quite busy with scooters and cars. The building has been here for a good bit of time, and it has that solid, older feel to it. Inside, things are kept simple. We have the wards and the consultation rooms, and the hallways are usually filled with the smell of floor cleaner. It’s a local hospital, so we get people from all over the neighborhood coming in at odd hours. We don't have a giant lobby with fountains or anything like that. It’s just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. The staff stays busy with paperwork and checking on patients in the beds. Sometimes it gets a little loud when there are a lot of visitors, but we manage. Susheela Road can be a bit tricky to navigate if you aren't used to the turns around Lalbagh, but most people find us just fine. We have some benches outside where people sit and wait for their family members. It’s a practical kind of place, nothing too polished, just a working hospital trying to stay on top of the daily arrivals and departures of the city.
