Snarts

Our place, Snarts, is located at 143 Kanakapura Road, specifically in the 5th A Main, 4th Cross of the 3rd Phase. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address, but once you get here, it’s a pretty easy spot to recognize. We do a bit of everything related to arts and creative work. The shop is usually cluttered with half-finished projects and containers of various supplies. We don't really follow a strict schedule; we just open up and start working on whatever needs doing that day. The neighborhood is lively, and we often have people popping their heads in just to see what we are making. It’s a small shop, so we have to be clever about how we store everything on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of space and things end up piled on the floor. We use a lot of different tools, and the sound of hammering or cutting is pretty common. It isn't a polished showroom by any means. There are paint splatters on the floor and some of the shelves are a little crooked. We prefer it that way because it feels like a real workshop. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy storefront. We just want to keep making things and staying busy in this part of town. It’s a simple life.
