Balaji Sinages

You can find us at Virgo Nagar, specifically inside the New Cloth Market. It is a bit of a maze in here with all the shops and people moving fabric around, but we have our spot set up. Balaji Sinages is where we spend most of our hours. We make signs of all kinds. Sometimes it’s just small plastic ones, and other times it is something much larger that takes a couple of us to carry. The shop is usually a bit messy with scraps of material and bits of vinyl on the floor. We try to keep it tidy but when things get busy, that usually goes out the window. We’ve been here in the market long enough that we know most of the neighbors. It’s a loud place, especially in the afternoons when the market is at its busiest. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just a few of us who know how to work the machines and get the colors right. Sometimes a customer comes in with a rough drawing on a piece of scrap paper, and we have to figure out how to make it look decent. We don’t promise miracles, but we do the work properly. If you are walking through the cloth market, you will likely hear our machines hum before you see us. It’s just honest work we do here every day from morning until we close up for the night.
