Slv Colour Centre is located at No. 42 on 1st Cross in Azad Nagar, Chamarajpet. It’s a bit of a narrow street, but we’ve been here for quite some time. The shop is full of cans and containers, as you might expect from the name. We spend our days surrounded by different shades and mixing things up. It isn't a polished retail store; it is a working shop where things get a bit messy. We have paint on our hands more often than not. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy brand strategy. We just know about colors and how they work. People from around Azad Nagar come to us when they are fixing up their homes or starting a new project. We give them straight answers and show them what we have in stock. Chamarajpet has a lot of history, and we like being part of this older section of Bangalore. The 1st Cross can be quiet some days, but usually, there’s a delivery truck or a customer’s scooter parked out front. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a simple life of mixing, matching, and moving heavy cans. We don’t overcomplicate things. It’s just us, the paint, and the people who need it. We handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the final tinting. It’s honest work and we like it.
