Gem Paints Ltd

We are located over at 417 and 418 in the Peenya Industrial Area. It is out by Suprim Farms in Balewadi. If you know the area, it is mostly factories and workshops around here. At Gem Paints Ltd, we deal with all sorts of paints. There is always that smell of solvent or a fresh coating in the air when you walk into the building. The space is pretty big because we need room for all the drums and the mixing equipment. It gets loud during the day with the machines running constantly. We have got a small crew working the floor and a couple of us in the front office handling the orders. It is dusty work sometimes, especially when the weather is dry and hot. We do not really have a fancy showroom to show off. Most of our days are spent checking batches and making sure the colors match what was asked for. The trucks come in and out all day long through the main gate. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just how it goes in this part of town. We have been here for a good stretch of time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of our own product, honestly. It is just a practical place for making paint and getting it out the door. We keep the kettle going for tea in the afternoons. It is a hard-working environment, nothing like those shiny corporate offices downtown. We just focus on getting the buckets filled.
