We operate out of the Krishnappa Building in Whitefield, specifically at number 36/46. This area has changed a lot over the years, becoming a huge hub, but we’re just in a regular building doing our thing. Skype Relocations is basically about moving stuff from one place to another. Our office is often cluttered with packing tape, bubble wrap, and empty boxes waiting to be used. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always a truck being loaded or a crew getting ready to head out for a job. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating drivers and making sure everything is on schedule. The office walls have maps and schedules pinned all over them. Whitefield traffic is something we have to deal with every single day, and it can be a real headache for our timing. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we manage the logistics of moving people’s belongings. The staff usually wears casual clothes because the work is quite physical and dusty. Sometimes we’re here early in the morning before the sun is even up to get a head start. It’s hard work, and we’re often tired by the end of the day, but that’s just the nature of the moving business. We focus on getting the crates packed and the trucks moving out to wherever they need to go next. The coffee here is usually cold by the time we get to drink it.
