You will find Skanda Manufacturing Systems Private Limited at No. 46 on the 4th Main road. We are located in the 3rd Phase of the Peenya Industrial Area. Peenya is a huge place, so it can be easy to get lost if you do not know the cross streets well. Our building is a simple industrial shed with some brick walls and a tin roof. It gets pretty hot in there during the summer months, but we have some big exhaust fans that help a bit. We have been manufacturing things in this spot for quite a while now. The shop floor is filled with different types of equipment and workbenches. It is usually quite messy with metal shavings and cooling oil, but we try to do a big clean up on Saturday afternoons before we leave. We do not have a big management team or anything like that. Most of us are on the floor doing the actual work. It is a hands-on kind of business. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with long meetings and slide presentations. If there is a problem with a part, we just stand around the machine and figure it out together. The noise from the other factories in Peenya is always there in the background. We have got a small area in the front for parking our scooters. Most of the guys have worked here for years and we know how things go.
