We are located right at number 9 on Race Course Road, not far from the Anand Rao Circle. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic and people always rushing somewhere. Our college has been a fixture here for many years, tucked away amidst the noise of the city center. We have students coming in for all sorts of things, whether it's science or law or commerce, so the hallways are always a mix of different people. The building has that older feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings that keep things a bit cooler when it’s hot outside. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or polished marble floors. It’s more about the books, the labs, and the long benches where people sit and talk between their classes. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. Working here means getting used to the sound of the horns from the circle and the bustle of the street outside. We open up early and the security guard usually has the gates ready by the time the first bus arrives. It’s just a regular college doing its thing every day. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just us here at the corner, keeping the lights on and the doors open for anyone who needs to be here. Sjr College is a practical place for students who are serious about their work.
