Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital

Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital sits right at No.8 & 9 O Langford Garden in Bangalore. It is a busy part of Shantinagar and you can always hear the traffic hum from the street outside. Most days start early here with staff coming in and checking the lists. The building has been around for quite some time now. You can see the age in some of the corners but it works for what we do. The area around Long Ford Gardens and Langford Town has changed a lot over the years but this spot stays pretty much the same. People come in with all sorts of health issues. Some are just here for a quick check and others stay longer. We have nurses who have worked here for years and they know the place better than anyone. It’s not one of those shiny new glass buildings you see in other parts of Bangalore. It is more practical than that. The waiting area usually has some old magazines and the fans are always spinning. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow so people take the stairs. It is just a regular hospital doing the daily work of seeing patients and getting them through their appointments. The doctors are usually in a hurry between rooms. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where medical work happens every day without much fuss. We try to keep things moving as well as we can given how many people show up.
