Singer Merritt Swing Home Appliances

Our shop is located at Jayanagar Shahibaug, 118/6. It’s one of those places where you’ll see sewing machines and various home appliances lined up as soon as you walk in. We spend our days either talking to people about which machine would be best for their home or trying to fix an old one that has finally stopped working after twenty years. There are usually parts and tools scattered around the back because there’s always something being repaired. We’ve been around for a while, and people in Shahibaug know they can just drop by if their appliance is acting up. It’s not a polished showroom with bright lights and pushy salespeople. It’s just a shop. We have the Merritt and Singer models because those are the names people have known for generations. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the fabric lint and the metal filings, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find what we need. We don't have a big philosophy or a complex way of doing things. If someone comes in with a problem, we look at it and see if it can be fixed. We’ve seen many different types of machines come through here, and we’ve learned a lot about how they work. It’s just steady, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
