Simran Motor Driving School

Running a driving school in Bangalore is quite something, especially on a road as busy as Bannerghatta Road. We are at No. 9/1 in the Thayappa Complex, right across from Pai Electronics in Belakahalli. If you know this area, you know how the traffic gets during peak hours. Our office is a small space where we keep the keys and the schedules for all the learners. We spend most of our day out on the road teaching people how to handle a clutch and not stall in the middle of a junction. It’s a lot of patience, really. Some people learn fast and others take their time, which is fine by us. We’ve got a couple of cars that we keep running all day. The office usually has someone sitting there to take bookings or talk to parents who want their kids to learn. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction going on nearby, but we keep things moving. We don't have any big corporate setup, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule, but that's just how it is here. Most of our students come from the nearby apartments. It’s a practical job. We show them the signs, the gears, and how to park without hitting the curb. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for a good long time now in this same spot.
