Silicon Motor Driving School

Silicon Motor Driving School is located over on Rani Sati Marg. We operate out of the Yeshwantpur Chakkiwala Chawl area. It’s a busy spot with a lot of movement throughout the day. Teaching people how to drive in this kind of traffic takes a lot of patience, and we have plenty of that. Most of our students are locals who are finally getting around to learning how to handle a steering wheel. We spend most of our time out on the road, sitting in the passenger seat and watching the mirrors. Our office is pretty basic, mostly just a place to keep the logbooks and the keys. It’s not a fancy setup with simulators or anything like that. We just put people behind the actual wheel so they can feel the clutch for themselves. Every morning starts with checking the oil and the tire pressure on the training cars. Some days are long, especially when we have students who are very nervous about merging into traffic. We talk them through it, explaining how the gears work for the hundredth time. It can be tiring, but seeing someone finally get their license makes the day feel okay. We know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of the road. It’s a tight-knit community here. We just keep things moving, one gear change at a time, and hope for the best with the traffic.
