Shushil Rubber & Allied Industries

Being out here in Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at the Kssidc Industrial Estate, means things are always loud. Shushil Rubber & Allied Industries is located at C/203, right on the 4th Cross in the 1st stage. If you walk around here, you’ll hear machines humming from every building. Our place is no different. We deal with rubber and other materials every day, so there is always that specific smell in the air that you never quite get used to. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of material and tools that have been left out from the last job. We aren't big on keeping things looking like a showroom because we are actually working. Our workers have been with us for years and they know how to handle the presses and the molds without much fuss. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out of the estate, which makes the 4th cross pretty cramped some mornings. Sometimes we have to wait for someone to move a delivery van just so we can get our own stuff out the door. It is a practical life here. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a small office area where we keep the ledgers and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It is mostly just hard work and getting the orders ready for the next day, which keeps us busy from morning until we lock up.
