Shruti Syntex

Our business, Shruti Syntex, is tucked away in the basement of Sheeltara House. You can find us at 24/4866, Amsari Road in the Daryaganj area. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice when it’s hot outside. We have rolls of fabric stacked up everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, moving between the different piles of cloth. Daryaganj is a fast-paced place, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We spend our time checking the syntex materials and getting orders ready for people who need them. It’s not a quiet job because there’s always the sound of moving heavy rolls or the hum of the lights. We don't have a big staff, so we all do a bit of everything, from sweeping the floor to talking to the folks who come in looking for specific fabrics. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we just keep working. We’ve been in this basement for a while and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. It is a very hands-on kind of job. You get the smell of new fabric in your clothes by the end of the shift. We just stay focused on the daily tasks and try to keep our customers happy by having what they need in stock.
