My office is inside Flat No 22 at the Ranganayaki Apartments. It is located in Malleswaram West right on the Banaswadi Main Road. It can be a long commute for some people but I have been in this spot for years. The apartment stays mostly quiet, besides the neighbors and the cars outside. I spend my days at a desk with papers scattered all over the place. It is not a corporate office or anything fancy. Just a simple room with a fan and a window looking out at the street. Sometimes I head down to the tea shop just to get a break from the four walls. The traffic on the main road gets very loud during the rush hour. That makes it hard to focus on the paperwork sometimes. I have lived and worked around here for a long time. You start to recognize the people who walk past every day. My desk is a mess of notes and old pens. I try to tidy it up on the weekends but by Monday morning it is back to being a disaster. It is a simple way to do things. I handle everything that comes in under the name Shrinivasan S. Most people find out about me through word of mouth. It is a decent place to be. I like this neighborhood even with all the noise from the main road. It keeps things interesting throughout the day and there is always something going on.
