Triplicane is a crowded place, and Pycrofts Road is right in the middle of all that noise. Our shop at number 276 is tucked in there, and we see all kinds of people every day. It is mostly locals and some folks who travel in because they know this area is good for finding specific things. We have stayed in this one spot for a long time. The building is old, and the shelves are pretty high, so we are always climbing up and down to get things for customers. It is not a quiet job. You can hear the bikes and the talk from the street all day long. We start early, usually getting things organized before the main rush starts. Sometimes we have tea at the desk while checking what has come in. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something we do not have, we try to tell them who might. That is just how things work around here. We handle a lot of different supplies. Nothing too fancy, just the practical stuff that people need for their homes or small businesses. We do not bother with fancy displays. People come in, ask for what they need, and we get it for them. It is a simple way to run a business. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of noise, but it helps with the heat. We are just here doing our thing.
