Shri Dhanwantari Clinic

Shri Dhanwantari Clinic is out in Okhla Gaon. If you know the area, we are right near the Bangar Petrol pump. You can often smell the fuel when the wind blows a certain way, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. Okhla Gaon is a crowded place with lots of narrow lanes, but we are easy enough to find. The clinic itself is pretty basic. We have some posters on the wall about health, and a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets hot. We mostly see the local workers and families who live right here in the gaon. It’s a busy life. People come in at all hours, and we try to be there for them. We aren't trying to be a fancy city clinic. We just provide a place where you can get a bandage put on or get some medicine for a fever. The floor is made of that old grey stone, and we have a heavy door that we lock up at night. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they aren't sick. That’s the kind of place it is. Being near the Bangar Petrol pump means there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks and cars, but we don't mind it much anymore. It’s just home to us. We’ve been part of Okhla Gaon for a long time and we like the people who live here.
