Shreyas Institute

Shreyas Institute is out in Nanded Phata, near Indira Nagar. We are at number 743. It is a bit of a trek from the main city but it is where a lot of students live. The building is simple and we have converted a few rooms into classrooms. We have benches that have seen better days and whiteboards that always have a ghost of the last lesson on them. Teaching is what we do here. Most of our classes are in the early morning or late evening because that is when the students are free. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long sessions. The road outside can get very dusty when the wind picks up. We do not have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum loudly. It is a place for hard work and sometimes it gets a bit stressful before the big exams. We know our students by their first names and often meet their parents at the gate. It is a local place for local kids. We are not a big chain or anything like that. Just a small institute trying to help people get through their studies. Sometimes we run out of markers or the electricity goes out, but we just keep the lesson going anyway.
