Our office is at 12 Kalasipalyam 1st Main Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with all the buses and trucks. We are right in the middle of it. We spend our time managing shipments and talking to drivers. There are always stacks of waybills and receipts on the table. Someone is usually shouting over the phone about a delay or a wrong turn. That’s just the transport business. We have been operating out of Kalasipalyam for years. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for us. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a lobby for guests. People just walk in, ask about their cargo, and we check the records. It gets very busy in the early mornings and late nights when the big trucks are allowed to move. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during those hours. Sometimes a truck breaks down on the highway and we have to spend the whole night figuring out a backup plan. It’s stressful but it’s what we do. We don’t make big promises, we just try to get the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a simple office with a couple of fans and a lot of folders. We are just regular people trying to keep the wheels turning on the road.
