Shree Ashok Eiectricals is right there on the Marathahalli Outer Ring Road, in the Suhas Complex. If you are driving between the multiplex theaters, you’ll probably see our sign. It is a very busy stretch of road, and sometimes the dust from the traffic gets into the shop despite our best efforts. We keep a lot of electrical supplies on the shelves—everything from wires and switches to bigger components. The shop is a bit cluttered because we try to stock as much as possible in a limited space. There is always someone coming in looking for a specific bulb or a length of cable. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to reach the top shelves. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and displays. It’s more of a practical place where people come when they need something fixed at home or for a construction project nearby. The noise from the Outer Ring Road is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We have our regulars who stop by and chat for a bit while we pack their orders. Sometimes we get the spelling wrong on a bill or misplace a small item, but we always find it eventually. We just keep things moving and try to help people find the right electrical parts they need without making it complicated. It's a steady job in a part of town that never really slows down.
