We are over at 373 Shastry Nagar, right near the Balambika Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our workshop at Shashi Arts & Signs. We spend most of our time working with brushes, paints, and different materials to make signs for people in the area. It is a bit of a messy job sometimes with all the paint splashes and scraps of wood or metal lying around. Shastry Nagar is a nice place to be based. The temple brings a lot of people through the street, so there is always someone walking past the door. We have been making signs here for quite a while. It is a small shop and we do not have any fancy machinery, just our hands and some basic tools. The walls are covered in old sketches and bits of leftover material from past jobs. We are not a big corporate firm; it is just a few of us here doing the work as it comes in. Sometimes we sit outside on the step when it is quiet. It is a very simple life. We just try to get the signs looking right for whoever needs them. It is honest work and we are happy to be a part of this little community near the temple. The smell of fresh enamel paint is pretty much always in the air here. It might bother some people but we are used to it after all this time.
