Our office is at No.8/4 in Siddaganga Mansion. We are right behind the Aruna Complex in Kalasipalyam. This is the KPN Extension, 1st Main. If you know Kalasipalyam, you know it’s the heart of the transport business in this city. It is always crowded and there is always a truck moving somewhere. We are part of the Sharma Group. We do the packing and moving for people who are changing homes or offices. The building we are in is an old one, but it’s sturdy. We have rolls of plastic wrap and cardboard sheets everywhere. It can get pretty chaotic during the peak moving season. We don't have a polished front desk with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We spend a lot of time on the road or at people's houses. It’s a lot of sweat and heavy lifting. We’ve been doing this for years, so we have a rhythm to it. We know how to wrap a fridge or a sofa so it doesn’t get scratched up. The street outside is narrow and full of life. We usually have a lot of tea and chat with the other shop owners nearby while we wait for the next job. It’s a simple life and a practical business. We just focus on getting the work done right without making a big deal about it.
