At Shanthi Clinic, we’ve been operating out of number 18 in Cholarapalya for quite some time now. It’s a modest setup. We don't have leather chairs or a coffee bar in the waiting room. We just have the basics because that’s what’s needed. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, and we like it that way. Most people who come here live just a few streets away. We handle the day-to-day medical stuff that pops up. Whether it’s a cold that won’t go away or someone needing a bandage changed, we’re here. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a few of us trying to keep the community healthy. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little piled up on the desk, but we get through it. We aren't interested in being the most modern or flashy place in town. We just want to be the place where you feel okay coming in when you don't feel well. Cholarapalya is a tight-knit area, and we feel like a part of that. We know the names of the kids who grow up and then bring their own kids here. It's a simple way to work. No big mission statements, just helping people out when they walk through the door at 18 Cholarapalya. We try to be fair and straightforward with everyone. That's really all there is to it. Every morning we open up and wait for the first knock on the door.
