Up here at 340, Hosur Main Road, things are always moving. Bommanahalli is never quiet, and the sound of the traffic is something we hear from the minute we open up. Shansnkruti Spices Pvt Ltd is where we spend our hours. The air inside always smells like something sharp and earthy because of what we handle. It gets into your clothes and stays there until you get home. We have got a few people working here who have been around for years. They know exactly where every bag is stored. The building is not new, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the rain on Hosur Road makes everything a mess, and we have to be quick with the shutters. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It is a simple setup really. No one wears uniforms or anything like that.
