Shankar Motor Driving School

We are over here on Hennur Main Road, right across from the 10th Depot. If you know the area, you know how busy the traffic gets around Krishna Reddy Layout. Shankar Motor Driving School has been around for a bit now. People come to us when they finally decide it’s time to get behind the wheel. It’s not always easy starting out, especially with how people drive in Bangalore these days. We spend a lot of time in the car, just going over the basics. 1st Cross is where we usually meet up. Sometimes the weather is okay, other times it’s just dusty. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep the cars and handle the paperwork. Most of the folks who come here live nearby or work close to the depot. We see a lot of young people wanting their first license and older people who never got around to it. It’s steady work. The cars are kept running as well as they can be. Teaching someone to shift gears without stalling takes some patience. We just do our thing every day. If you see the sign near the 1st Cross, that’s us. It’s a practical setup, nothing more. We focus on getting people through their tests and making sure they don't hit anything. It is just a regular local business helping folks get mobile.
