Shalini Driving School

We are located over in Somasandrapalya, which is part of that HSR Layout 2nd Sector extension area. It's a busy part of Bangalore, but the side streets where we practice are a bit more manageable for beginners. Our place is at number 2, and it’s just a standard small business setup. We’ve got a few instructors who have been driving these roads for years. Usually, we meet the students, check their learner permits, and then head out. It’s not a complicated business. We just try to make sure people know how to use the clutch and brakes properly before they get into the heavier traffic on the main roads. The weather here can be unpredictable, so some days we’re teaching in the rain, which is actually good practice for the learners. We don't have a big corporate office or fancy waiting rooms. It’s just a place where you come to learn a practical skill. A lot of our students are people who just moved to HSR for work and need to figure out how to navigate the city. We keep the cars running and try to fit the lessons around everyone’s busy schedules. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping a close eye on the mirrors. That’s pretty much what our days look like, from one lesson to the next until we close up for the evening.
