Shaila Transport Co has its office on the 2nd Flr of Vasavi Chambers. We are at No.13, right across from the Nandhini Delux Hotel near Minarwa Circle in Basavanagudi. It’s a well-known part of town, very central and always busy. Being on the 2nd Flr means we have a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we’re focused on the paperwork inside. We’ve been operating from this building for years. Basavanagudi has a lot of history, and we feel like a part of the local furniture now. Our work involves a lot of transport planning. We don't have a fleet of fancy cars; we have trucks and logistical hurdles to clear. The office is simple, with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't interested in corporate speak. We just talk to our customers and our drivers like normal people. Sometimes the traffic at Minarwa Circle is a nightmare, but we’ve learned when to send the trucks out to avoid the worst of it. If you’re having lunch at the Nandhini Delux, you’re just a few steps away from our door. We’ve stayed at No.13 because it’s a landmark everyone knows. We don't spend money on big ads. People find us because we’ve been here and we do what we say we’re going to do. It’s a small, local operation, and we like keeping it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. That's just the way it goes here.
