Shahar Home Needs

Shahar Home Needs is on the first floor at No.-28 in Sadiq Layout. We are right there in Thanisandra, tucked in next to the Jaffer Sadiq Masjid. The sound of the call to prayer is something we hear every day, and it’s a nice way to mark the time passing. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, though mostly it’s just looking at the traffic below. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It’s a busy layout, always something happening outside. We started this place because it seemed like a good spot to be. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s usually just one of us sitting at the front. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. We focus on the work instead. Thanisandra is a growing area, but our little corner feels familiar and grounded. We deal with all sorts of people from the neighborhood. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk, but most of the time we are keeping busy with the daily tasks. We don't have a big mission statement. We just try to be useful and keep the shop running smoothly for whoever comes through the door at No.-28.
