Sgs Imports & Exports is located at 2162/13, right in Gaddiyan Wali Gali at Chowk Mana Singh. If you’ve ever been through these lanes, you know they can be quite narrow and crowded. It’s a lively area with a lot of history. Our office is tucked away in one of these buildings. We deal with a lot of paperwork because of the nature of importing and exporting. There are always forms to fill out and people to call. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we’ve learned to take it in stride. Our space is filled with files, samples, and the sound of the street outside. We don't have a big team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute we might be checking a crate and the next we’re sitting at the computer. It’s a busy life. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we know most of the people on the street. It feels like a small village inside the city. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just do our work and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a very grounded way of working. We enjoy the hustle and bustle of Chowk Mana Singh. It keeps us on our toes and makes every day a bit different.
