Seva Clinic

Our little clinic is located in the middle of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around constantly. The clinic itself is quite basic. We have a front desk where we keep the registers and a small area for people to sit while they wait to see the doctor. It’s usually filled with the sounds of the street—honking horns and people shouting. We deal with the usual stuff you’d expect in a local clinic, like seasonal fevers, coughs, and minor injuries. There’s a cabinet full of basic medicines and bandages. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few of us who have been working here for a while. We see parents bringing in their kids and older folks who come in every month for their checkups. It can get pretty cramped in here during the morning rush, but we manage. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority when there are patients to see. We just focus on the people standing in front of us. It’s not a fancy medical center with high-tech gadgets; it’s just a place where you can get a quick look at whatever is bothering you. We’ve been part of Shivaji Nagar for a long time, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done. Every day is different, but the goal is always just to help the next person in line.
